March 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

FREE
Weather changes are affecting many agricultural industries.  Are forest ecosystems affected by changes in temperature and precipitation trends?  Is the maple syrup industry going to change as a result of changing weather?  Kathryn Hopkins of the Maine Cooperative Extension Service explores the suspected long-term effects of climate change and the strategies that producers may employ to increase resilience in their production systems.
This Brown Bag is free and open to the public. Program begins at 12 noon in Moore Auditorium on the Institute campus. No registration is required.
