Painting with Wool Workshop

February 9 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

$50.00

Felting is one of the oldest fiber crafts. It is a process to create an object made with wool fibers. There are two types; needle felting (a dry process) and wet felting.

In this workshop on Saturday, February 9, 2019, you will learn the process of both wet felting and needle felting. Adorn your handmade sheet felt with needle felted embellishments to create a wool painting to hang on your wall! This workshop is great for beginners and those who already have some felting experience. (Some upper-body strength is needed for the scrubbing process of wet-felting.) Students will take home a pack of needle felting needles and have the option to buy the foam block working surface.

The program begins at 10:00 AM and concludes at 3:00 PM. Lunch is included. Space is limited. Please register by calling 207-288-1356.

Must cancel within 14 days for a full refund.  If Schoodic Institute cancels, a full refund will be issued.  Please realize that space is limited and kindly let us know if you can’t keep your reservation so we can offer your spot to someone else.
