Visitor Information Assistant at the Schoodic Education and Research Center Gatehouse
- Three-hour shifts on occasion or on a regular basis throughout the summer
- Greet visitors and assist with information about the area
“Green Thumbed Volunteers” to help spruce up Schoodic Education and Research Center gardens
- Join friendly energetic people in a beautiful coastal outdoor environment and leave long lasting marks of beautification; gain experience landscaping with native plants
Schoodic Peninsula Shoreline Cleanup:
2018 dates to be determined.
Meet at the Frazer Point Picnic area at 9:30 am to sign in and receive a safety brief, trash bag(s), water, etc. Volunteers are asked to dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring insect repellent, a hat or sunscreen, and work gloves. Friends of Acadia will provide water to fill or refill personal water bottles, a light snack, and work gloves for those who do not have them. Please note this event will be canceled in case of inclement weather.
