Michelle Pinkham

As the Sales and Operations Manager, Michelle works closely with the Director of Sales and Operations to oversee and prepare for groups on campus. She handles reservations for researchers, field technicians, and interns, as well as manages the keycard system, internal billing, and helping to secure speakers for brown bag talks, lectures, and the Acadia Winter Festival.

Michelle’s favorite part of working at Schoodic Institute is meeting people from all over the world. Her role enables her to interact with staff, volunteers, guests of Schoodic Institute, scientists, students, and researchers – as well as visitors of the Welcome Center and Acadia National Park. She feels fortunate to work in a beautiful, historic building within a national park that also happens to be right where she grew up!

Michelle has over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry and she continuously works hard to provide stellar customer satisfaction. Raised on the Schoodic Peninsula, Michelle is always happy to share her knowledge of the area with guests to help enhance their visit.

In her downtime, Michelle enjoys reading and watching football. She lives locally with her husband, two daughters, two cats, and a very spoiled border collie.
